Monoprice 9396 vs Soundmagic e10

Hi, i've been using monoprice 9396 (the 8320's dont fit me well) for everyday use for a while now. I like them and the sound is pretty decent and the fit is comfortable in my opinion. I have a little extra cash now and i was wondering would the e10's be a big improvement? if not is there something else in the 30-40 price range that would?

Thanks!

Hi! I made an account just to reply to you. I own both and I think there is an improvement. I like the 9396s and consider them more of an everyday IEM, but the E10s are better in my opinion. Now, I am by no means an audio engineer or anything, and I definitely don't know the technical names for anything related with audio or head gear. That being said, the 9396s to me sound more... aggressive? There are songs I listen to that reach some pretty high notes, and with the 9396s, they can be a little painful to the ears, if that makes sense... With the E10s, those same high notes sound much... warmer? They're much more mellow and balanced out. Same thing with the bass: in the 9396s, there is a lot of bass, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in the E10s, the bass is a little more balanced out. Again, I am in no way a pro and definitely can't hold a candle to the experienced listeners on this site, but I hope my reply helped you out just a little.
