Considering Dunu DN-2000 release is getting very close and the DN-1000 thread (which is very successful) is becoming mixed up with the new information I'll start this thread and all DN-2000 conversation can continue here. I'l dress the OP nicely eventually as more information comes in.

As it stands information we've received says: Release will be around March 20th 2014.

Now available first impressions coming in strong.

Can someone translate the texts on the promo pics?

Theres nothing to translate from the pics by any of our korean mates......only challenge is getting driver info but again it is a triple hybrids for that matter?. Other than that the 3.5mm jack to be revealed, whether its straight or angled. I was expecting a removable cable design but it isnt from the pics.

Rocky told me it's going to be released on the 20th. I've asked him whether there's some more info now.

I guess some of the most useful information you could ask Rocky is if he could give a retail price in USD. Or at least an estimate.

The last time I heard from him, release date is end of March, and will be priced around USD$250, which is exactly where H-300 is at

$250 USD sounds around figures I was thinking. Still, that's near $300+ AUD for us. I predict H-300 and DN-2000 will place quite a fight against each other in the coming months. Both companies have shown us what they're capable of in the $200 - $250 bracket with impressive results, and as preference I actually prefer Dunu's DN-1000 over H-200, however since hearing H-300 most recently I wonder if DN-2000 will offer similar performance. It's rather hard for me to say any hybrid I've heard (besides Tralucents 1Plus2) can match the dynamic driver control and performance over T-Peos H-200 and H-300, something that lacks in DN-1000. I hope Dunu have stepped up their dynamic driver for DN-2000.
