Djvkool mentioned around $250 USD, I understand he speaks with Rocky (Dunu) so us Aussies will be looking around $300 AUD and the eta for release is the 20th of March. I think member Lin is trying to get some more info.

I am curious about both DN1k and DN2k specs in a sheet compared with each other.

also I would like to have an insight how much the Fiio X5 + DN 2000 packages will estimate...

I just would like to buy booth Items since there was a Fiio X3 plus DN1000 package aviable for less then both items separetely

While snooping around, I found this site with info about the DN-2000. http://www.hifi.cd/portal.php?mod=view&aid=157 However, it's all in Chinese, and I'm too lazy to translate it all (I could probably read it). Also, at the bottom of the page is a link to pre-order it (link). However, unless you live in China like me, I don't think they ship overseas... It's 100RMB for the pre-order deposit, and below it says that the initial price will be about 17xxRMB (close to $300). I just bought my DN-1000s from these guys, but on the site, they're also claiming to be the first ones in China to get the DN-2000s.

The official Dunu taobao store has the DN-2000 listed at 1999 kuai, which is roughly 322 USD.

Yeah...DN-1000 was equivalent to USD$400 when it first came out in China...

Just curious, can you go into some detail why?

Sorry what I meant to say is woodies in general, not particularly JVC's woodies

I don't know mate, it's just something about the timbre, it's not quite to my taste. I briefly auditioned the 'legendary' FX700 but didn't like it, a bit too bright for me, and generally don't really like the midrange - then I listened to some other woodies from Hisound and Xears, and yeah the midrange just doesn't feel right, don't get me wrong, bass is great, but that's it for me.

Then you must try the fx850 because they are wonderful and soooooo natural sounding 😍
