Looking for cans with similar type signature to the Phillips Fidelio X1 (if not, will gladly take other suggestions)

Despite the fact that they sound great and that I've barely used them. I think I'm going to have to part with my X1s because when I do use them, they really put a lot of pressure on my jaw bone area. So Looking for a similar sound signature to the X1. in addition, I'm open to other suggestions if anyone is kind enough to share some.

Budget up to about $230 USD Would obviously like to spend a little less if possible.

I prefer open cans, but would be willing to try a closed can with a decent sound signature and where the mids aren't majorly recessed.

Sound leakage isn't a problem. As these would be used purely for home use.

I have a fairly big head, so comfort will obviously be the next biggest priority to sound.

I am only looking for over the ear

Will be using on my PC (most of the time) and cell phone.so looking for moderate to low impedance.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

From what I've head, the X1 is a dark headphone. You might take a look at the various Sennheiser models at that price range.

The AKG K702's are amazing. I think you'd really like them. They do have a similar build to the X1's though, if that's an issue. The impendance on them is 62 OHM's, so that shouldn't be an issue. Another great option is the Sennheiser HD 598's. A truly amazing headphone for the price. Beautiful looking can's too. Both are open back. Oh, and the impendence on the HD's is an all time low of 50 OHM's. They each have detachable cables, which is always a plus. The K702's sound stage is slightly larger, but you will be paying for it. Sennheiser's are more comfortable though, great padding.  While I personally would buy the HD's it's really up to you. Whichever sit's with you better. ;)

Glad I could help.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I was also considering the Beyer DT 770 32 ohm version. Any thoughts on that? if not, still appreciate the suggestions. Thanks!

Yes, however I think you'd prefer open back over closed back. The ones I suggested are open back. The DT770's are a great closed back headphone. But open back's dominate in sound quality. I really think you would enjoy the Sennheiser HD 598's
