Sorry, but I messed up the post and I cant edit it now. First of all I watnted to Say "hi" as it is my first post here.
As said up, Im Looking for some iems under 150 $. I Mostly listen to heavy metal( Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Pantera), power metal(helloween) and some trash(anthrax, overkill, exodus).
Before, I owned shure shr240 and pretty much liked them- Mostly for good mids and separation. Now I want an upgrade. What I expect is a good, punchy but not overwhelming bass and really good mids. The source is sansa clip zip and iPod classic(6th gen). My favourites so far are:
Rock-it r-50
Shure se215
Westone W1/W10
Yamaha epcch-100
Vsonic gr07
Hifimann re-400
And monster turbines

I hope that someone can help me decide. Looking on Internet only brings more choices..

Don't  you mean the S4? I like my pair of them, but the jack needs to be replaced on them.

No, the x4 Is a higher quality better tuned s4.

Oh, I haven't listened to them yet so I wouldn't know how they sound, but if they are better than the s4's they should be pretty good. The biggest complaint I have with the s4 was the build quality so I hope that is fixed.

Thanks for suggestion but Im really worried about the build quality.

I'll use the phones mostly in school( so they will land in my backpack) and while traveling( bus, bicycle) so I think they should be pretty solid so they won't break after one month.

Adding klipsh to the list, which will be the best in terms of mid tones ?

My vote is for Rockit Sounds R50. My absolute favorite is the Ultimate Ears Triple fi 10 for that genre of music but that's if you're willing to spend a bit more.

Well, I Just realized that I can get triple fi for about 135$, used. Would those be better than rest?

So...

I think that I may also consider gettine some over-ear headphones. They can't be bigger than shure shr240 beacuse I will use them as portables..

Any suggestions ?

What is your budget?

Beyer have just released two great new products that I can recommend… They are the Beyerdynamic DX120 iE and the DX160 iE. The 160 is a bit more expensive, but has a slightly better response around the lower mids and sounds a bit more silky. Personally I think they are the nuts for their price… I think the DX160 is about $119. Might be worth a listen.
