Source: Motorola Razr (XT910), Android smartphone, no amp
Use: Mobile, train and bus, so it shouldn't leak too much
Type: Can be IEM, on-ear or over-ear, but it must be somewhat portable
Durability: Would be nice
Music taste: (Power) Metal, (Synth) Rock, game/Anime/movie soundtracks
Budget: I'm trying to stay under €50 but go ahead and recommend anything up to €150!
Alright, since I got my Superlux 681 (and DT 990 afterwards), I've discovered my liking for brighter and airy headphones. My Panasonic RPHJE120K sound disgustingly muddy and unrefined in comparison. Then again, they cost €7...Anyway, that means I'm looking for headphones that have controlled, clear bass and do not neglect mids and especially treble.
I already ordered the Klipsch Image S4 II because I heard good stuff about them (or their predecessor), but I gotta say, they're only a very tiny step over the Panasonics. Their sound signature is incredibly similar: muddy and unpecise.
Hopefully I'm not asking for the impossible. Oh and please note I'm from Germany, so consider that not everything you'd recommend might be available (or affordable rather) here.
