Hello,
This is my first time posting on this forum,so sorry for this nooby question. Anyways I'm looking for headphones that look good and sound good. I listen to hip hop mostly and rap. My budget is 400 dollars,I always used to buy cheap 20 dollars headphones...

Is isolation a priority? Will you be using these in public or at home?

Don't rule out Beats. I mean. Hiphop & rap, stylish, low leakage...

Oh yeah, dang. If you're mostly hip hop and rap, SERIOUSLY look into the Beats Mixrs. They're not exceptionally comfortable (at least not without giving them a stretch) but they are GREAT cans for that music. Legit.

I agree with SomeGuyDude, V-Modas all the way. Not to bash on Beats but seriously, they don't sound as good. If you want looks and high quality audio go with the V-Modas.

Also, check out the Beyerdynamic Custom One. Even better sounding than the V-Modas, and they have a bass switch, you can choose how much bass you wanna hear.

Phiaton MS400, in red (red and black).  Great looking, excellent sound, closed back type (low leakage), and the most comfortable headphones I have.

Sennheiser Momentum, or the Momentum on-ears.

V-Moda's are great, definitely an amazing contender. Look at the Sennheiser Momentum's. They look great, sound better, all at the same price as the V-Moda's.

I don't disagree. Not everyone likes the look, but even a curmudgeon could learn to love the wood-bodied ones.
