Our Anti-Texting while Driving PSA

Hey Head-Fi'ers,

I thought this topic could bridge here since often our hi-fi is the same as our mobiles.

Through collaboration with the broadcasting and public relations program (my program), we put together a public service announcement on the dangers of texting while driving: now the leading cause of accidents among young drivers, even higher than drinking and driving.

This article http://www.businessinsider.com/80-of-college-students-text-and-drive-2013-10 is more enlightening for me than most statistics. It touches on the mentality (i.e. I'm better at texting and driving than others) and personality types (impulsive, always need to be connected) who fall victim to texting while driving.

You can view our PSA here: http://ow.ly/u7brw

It's lighthearted, and we exaggerate our point, but in essence you're endangering your life in a similar way. Drinking and driving is stigmatized and we want to start the same social mindset for distracted driving.

Thanks for viewing :)

I think it could be more successful if you don't call it "anti-texting." Maybe "Have fun driving without texting." A little lame, I know, but it should be something positive.
