They tickle the inner-child of my audiophile self. No comparisons, no unwanted attributes in the sound sig, just fun.

Anyone knows of where to buy OEM replacement earbuds?  I refuse to buy unpackaged ones off of ebay.  I know that those are fakes.  Unless it's blister packaged like the sony hybrids or if it's in a bag I better have bought it off the jvc website.  Maybe someone with a hookup in japan can find it off the japan website?

So I removed the fabric filter and I seems to tame the bass abit while making it slightly more cleaning and open😎..i likey😋

Amazon Japan has the jvc spiral tips on sell😎
post #849 of 3470

link to the tips?

Also I don't think it is a good idea to remove the filters. Some turd who sold me a pair of FX700s didn't disclose that the filters were removed (supposedly he didn't know). Anyways that caused them to fail due to moisture build up. Definitely sounded more airy and open but at a cost..

Cross referencing to the japanese JVC-Kenwood website.

Interesting. I'm not going to pay shipping for a box of tips, but when I buy something else from amazon.jp these are definitely getting thrown in the basket.

Now I am understanding one of the reasons why the FX850 has such a large sound. Believe it or not it is in part due to the genius of these tips. These tips opens up the sound for every phone I have used them on. I threw on a pair for my IM03. The sound become more spacious. Likewise with the H3s.
