Don't remember meeting you specifically, but I been around this hobby for quite a while now and unusually weird is a pretty high bar around these parts.

Fresh out of the box, supposedly to burn in my 850, hooked it up to the audiogd nfb10.32...

Josh Groban came on stage, and i am in cloud 9...seduced. I know it is still early days,

but that timbre, that smoothness...i closed my eyes n zoned out.

FANTASTIC !!

( i still havent heard it out of my simpler street gears...meanwhile, it is heaven :P )

=============

took a quick look at the "spiral" tips tat cost me a bomb....

looks ordinary ..doubt i can differentiate it from my few boxes of old tips..lol

cant peel open my eyes...lack sleepzzz

If you like them now, wait till they really start singing after burn-in. The timbre will improve, soundstage will open up and that persistent sub bass will calm down. Welcome to the club, enjoy dem woodies!

hey guys, can somebody post a picture of the screens on the nozzle please?  I bought a used pair of fx850, and the previous owner failed to mentioned he had removed the screens on the iems...

PM me your address, I'll ship  mail you an extra pair for free (I got three unused pairs from previous Hifiman IEMs that are absolutely identical in size and material ; )

Pretty sure he meant the filters on the iem nozzle itself instead of the tips.

so they are the same as what hifiman uses? if so, the seller did buy some hifiman filters and had them sent my way.

Nice. Then you're all set, the FX850s have a slight curve to them but the size is the same
