My right ear often feels plugged up and has pressure behind it. I try stretching my jaw and yawning but am 99% of the time unsuccessful in opening my Eustachian tube to balance out the pressure between my ears. I've run some tests on my own and, at least while it's plugged, my right ear hears 1000Hz less than my left and sounds sound a little farther away and quieter. Does anyone have any experience with such annoyances or recommend some treatment? The general doctor I talked to knew nothing and slapped my with some nasal spray which hasn't helped at all.
