PC gaming headphones/headset!

Hi guys, my name is Ryan. I play pc games such as Loadout, Minecraft pvp, Battlefield, Call of duty, Counterstrike ext... Recently, my trusted Steelseries Siberia v2's broke on me. At the moment I still have my blue yeti mic so it doesnt matter if the headset/headphones dont or do come with a mic. My sound card is a realtek high definition audio, I think its bad but try and work around it.

Honestly, i've been going around the forums and I am soooo confused on what to get as there are so many options, I have seen Mad Lust Envy's post and it is very good. My budget is $200 (£150) however I may be able to stretch to $225 (£175). :)

The headsets/headphones I'm looking at with my sound card, are the sennheiser G4ME One or the PC 350 Special edition. Also, I have the ATH-M50x's in mind or the AKG K701 (However prices vary from £135-300). Links will be appreciated, Thanks for your time :)

The q701 are bass light. Many people definitely don't like that. But for gaming, bass isn't really that important unless you really like your explosions. The q701 definitely has the soundstage though.

If you want a bit more bass, ma900

If you want your bass to be accentuated, philips x1. All of these phones have pretty good soundstages.

Closed headphones like the m50's won't have much soundstage.

Sorry to but in here, but b00, would you recommend the DT770? I was looking at these for this exact reason.

Depends on what you're looking for and what music you listen to. The dt770 has a v shaped sound signature. Bass heavy, laid back mids/vocals, somewhat sharp treble.

Sorry guys, just went with the Razer Kraken 7.1's and I have to say, they're awesome! Totally recommend them!
