Thread Starter

Hello everyone:smile:,I'm new member here. And I'm looking for a portable headphones.

My gear is J3, and my budget is up to 200~300$

And the music genres I mostly listen to is Classical,Symphonic Metal,Jazz, and Alternative.

I 'm infatuated with quality Lows. I like smooth, deep, and solid Lows. And I pay a lot of attention in instrument performance.

And the Highs,I like bright and crystal.

I hope someone can give me some good advices .

(1) sennheiser amperior

(2)AKG 545

Thanks :D

Well in that price range you might want to look at the KEF M500, B&W P7, and the Sennheiser momentum. Out of the three I have only listened to the momentum and while it sounds good, some members here prefer the M500 and P7 over it.

Btw, this might help http://www.head-fi.org/t/672743/comparisons-13-of-the-top-closed-portable-headphones-around

Based on your description of the bass you want, I thought of planars. I recommend ZMF (probably v2), http://www.zmfheadphones.com/I've listened to v1. Very solid bass and extended but not hot highs. I'm impressed. The description on the website is accurate.
