RWAK100 to feed an integrated amplifier/home audio system?

Hi there,

Recently bought a RWAK100 - superb little gadget, sounds great with my se535 red.

Was trying to connect the RWAK100 to an integrated amplifier the other day, the sound quality is terrible - extremely muddy! It even sounds better with my mobile phone plugged in. Not sure if I've connected it wrong or it's not meant to feed an integrated amplifier...

This is how I connect the RWAK100 to the amplifier:

(Cable is plugged into the earphone jack)

(Back - the cable "splits" into two and are plugged into PHONO)

I've only just started learning about using high-end audio equipment, so I do apologise for my lack of knowledge in this.

Thanks in advance!

No help at all?

Use Aux input. Phono inputs go to pre-amp with RIAA equalization curve to amplify phono cartridge.

There're only ports for "CD1", "CD2", "PHONO", "TUNER", "DVD" and "TAPE"... I can't seem to find a port for AUX on the back of the integrated amp...

I'd be very much appreciated if someone could shed some light to this. Thanks!

Try the tape  or CD input

Is the cable I'm using correct?

I don't know what it's called, but the cable is 3.5mm at one end (which I plug into the headphone port of the AK100) and splits into two at the other end (not 3.5mm, seem like RCA), which are plugged into the tape input ports of the integrated amp...

Cable should be good. I am not familiar with your DAP. Check manual for details.
