Depends on the amp/dac (please give me a suggestion in the thread)

I have had my DJ1s for about a year and I love them, however I was thinking about getting an amp and a dac. I know that these headphones are easy to drive, so I was wondering if I would see any benefit. Right now I am using them with the Logitech USB dongle that came with my G330, which I feel is decent enough as I get a lot lower lows than I do when plugged into my HT receiver.

Thanks (and I tried googling DJ1 + dac/amp and didnt get anything worthwhile),

Amping has benefited everything I've tried amping--including Koss clip ons. But I don't fully understand your set up yet so I'm hesitant to say for sure.

Most of the time I use them with a logitech usb sound card (it came with the G330 headset), the only problem is that it has a very base heavy eq setting, which overtakes the highs and mids most of the time.

Because of that I tried plugging them straight into my yamaha receiver, but everything sounds a lot flatter, and not much changes that-settings on the receiver itself/settings on my pc.

I am asking because I found a decent deal on a dac and amp (NuForce uDAC2 [used solely as a dac] and Little Dot I+ amp).
