Moderate budget. Best overall, balanced desktop setup under $1000? Amp, DAC, and Headphones

Hey! Looking for a decent setup. I just want the most well rounded equipment I could possibly get for under $1000. I'm fine with buying used. Previous gear - Schiit Vali, Audioengine D1 (currently using), HD598, Momentums, HD600, Grado SR80(current), Beyer DT990 Pro (current). I will not be using any of the current items in my next setup. This will be used at my computer, and I'd prefer open headphones. Requirements - soundstage, comfort, not a basscannon. I have been considering HD700s and some Schiit. Really mixed reviews on those however. Please throw some suggestions my way, thanks!

The Beyers and D1 will be returned to Amazon. Probably selling the Grados. Otherwise I won't be able to afford it!

Get a second-hand Beyer T1, and a Modi/Asgard/Valhalla.

Consider HE500 with the Emotiva mini-X (or a Lyr?) and an ODAC. Not sure how the DAC works with the mini-X. If either set up interests you, ask on the relevant threads.
