Just picked up The Band in 24/192, have been waiting for this one for a while, sounds great like other Band releases. May have to pick up Beck's new album in 24/96 too after I check it out on Spotify. Supposed to be similar to Sea Change from what I've read.

Nice to see some love for Beck!

Beck's new album is awesome... I already bought it in 320kbps, but I think I'm going to get the HD version as well so I can compare on my Sony ZX1.

Highly recommend the album though whichever format....

^I agree, got the 16/44 version of Beck yesterday and enjoyed it. The acoustic guitar on "Heart Is A Drum" sounds really nice, wouldn't mind getting the high res of version of it, or the album for that matter.

edit
One other thing, did anyone else thats heard the album notice that the track "Wave" almost sounds just like a cover of Bjork's song "Hunter" minus the marching drum beat.

Got the two Black Sabbath albums today and gotta say they sound really good, much better than than the recent CD Remaster I got a few years ago. Gotta see how Paranoid compares to the japanese SACD. I thought the Dio Years releases were a lil weak: Mob Rules and Dehumanized were about as good as thr CD R emasters and Heaven and Hell was a few steps below the Japanese SACD, but the Black Sabbath and Paranoid albums both sound great.

The new Beck album is fantantic!! Is it better than Sea Change? Maybe...I need to spend more time with it. The Sea Change album was known to be one of the better SACD's out there and really well recorded. Morning Phase is good but not quite that good in terms of overall sound quality.

Also the new Pat Metheny: Kin is one of the better recording that I've heard in the past few years. The mastering is top notch.

Purchased the new St. Vincent album in 24/96 and couldn't be happier. I typically don't like the mixing of her albums but this new one sounds fantastic at 24/96.

Just got my vinyl version of Beck's "Morning Phase" today. Sounds great. Have it on continuosly.

Anyone notice distinct similarities to the 1971 release of the Jimmie Spheeris' album, "Isle of View?"

Yeah, Sea Change continues to be one of my most used albums to test various phones' SQ to... I agree that at least with standard quality Morning Phase is not up to the level of Sea Change.

Question to HDtracks, any hi-rez albums from 'The Police' coming down the pipe?
