Hey all, new here looking for some advice from the experts. I've owned a bunch of IEM's over the years but the two that are my favorite are the Bose IE2 & the Philips SHE6000/28, which I've owned several of, as well as its predecessor the Philips SHE5920. My Bose's have decided to start cracking all over the cables, exposing the inner wire, so its time for new ones.
Here's the catch, I really dont like headphones that plug my ears. So I'm looking for a set of headphones similar to those models. I like that they go into the ear, but i dont want them to plug, or need a far insert. I dont know if its the vent that makes them not plug or if its the lack of seal/shallow insertion.
Any suggestions? I've been scouring the site, amazon, as well as local stores and cant find much. I'd like to stay as far under $100 as possible as well. Main use will be for podcasts & punk rock.
