Good Headphones for Aune T1 around ~200-250

First things first, hello everyone, I'm fairly new to truly appreciating music and really need some solid advice.

I am planning on buying the Aune T1 DAC AMP for my desktop PC. I was wondering what are some good headphones that works well with this amp.

I will be listening primarily to classical music and the occasional jazz. I will be listening to it fairly loud but not overbearingly.

If you guys think that another tube amp would be better please let me know my budget for a tube amp is also around 200.

Also what would be some good tubes to buy with the Aune T1 for classical music?

I was planning on buying AKG Q 701 headphones with Aune T1 and AMPEREX 7308 Gold Pin tubes. Does this seem like a good setup?

Please be nice and thank you for all your wonderful advice!

No advice?

DT880-600ohms is my top choice in that price range. I'm just not sure if the Aune T1 can drive 600 ohms. Otherwise the HE400, recently discounted to $300 (from $400) is a good choice for tube amps. The open planar-magnetic drivers are really good for classical/jazz.

what if i amp up the Aune T1 with Fiio E09K amp? Would that be enough?

I suggest you get a better amp/dac, one that is more friendly to lots of types of headphones. The Magni/Modi combo comes to mind.

If don't have headphone and amp yet, you can start with choose headphone that match your need/like. Every headphone or speaker has own sound signature.
Next step to find amp that can drive your headphone singing "good", it's subjective depend on your taste.

just my 2 cent opinion...

Don't amplify an Amplifier, with another amp.!

it will cause distortions and other problems.

Alternatively, you can use the Aune T1 as a DAC only, and connect the E09K to the RCA-out...

But why would you? the T1 and the E09K have almost the same power quantity...

If you want a cheap combo. yet of high quality, and MUCH more power (>4x), then go on something like this:

if you'd like to change the entire sound signature, then you'll have to replace your headphones.

and if you listen mainly to classical and jazz, I think you should try the SHURE SRH1440.
