Yes they can.

I do have a certain amount of responsibility to keep here on head-fi, Ostry KC06 is the real deal.

I would not mislead you guys for the love of hype.

I'm still waiting for my KC06, but this song sounds amazing on Havi B3 Pro MK1 and FAD Heaven VI, modded Piston 2.0 isn't too shabby either.

Great album.

For me, the main thing is: when I joined head-fi I fell for some product hyping, back then there were a lot of JVC IEM's being hyped by certain members and I got taken for a real ride. I ordered and waited almost 1.5 months for my order to arrive, (which didn't help being terribly late). All I could do was read posts in the thread while I waited. Posts and comments about how awesome these JVC ****** were for such a price. Days and days, weeks of being a nOOb thinking I'd finally hit the jack pot, I'd found the people who could help me. When the JVC arrived I was shocklingly dissapointed, I was almost disgusted and completely felt I'd been conned, scammed.

That's not a very nice way of being welcomed to a community and I have a certain stance on 'hyping'

I never ever took a hype product on again and found my own way around Head-fi.

So with that in mind, you're good to go with the KC06.

Damn, since there are rave impressions of the havi b3 pros, I can only imagine how the kc06s will sound (as will you), thanks! :D

Why thank you, I will when I finish listening to Doctorjazz's collage of music in the discovery thread, lol!

And if you thought the jvcs were bad, do you want a free pair of CARBON NANOTUBE audio technica 70s?

Those...were tonally imbalanced to tolerate. My ears were bleeding from the peaks at the mid-upper midrange...

And in addition, the highs were pretty sibilant as the midrange itself. Sure, after a few hours of burn-in, they settled down, but the highs were still sibilant enough to aggravate me.

I hope that the new audio technica ckr series will change my opinion about audio technica's tuning flavors, as the latest headphone had a peak at the upper midrange. Their BA series were great, only having the highs somewhat sibilant depending on the source, but that is better than having the sibilance everywhere.

Sounds awesome on my vmoda bliss tipped M200's. Looking forward to comparing the kc06's.

Btw, kinda freaky how her eyes change colors during the vid as well. Cool.

I seem to have forgotten my poor m200s thanks to my audio technicas and sonys :(

Thanks wayne! I will revisit my library with the m200s.

I heard her with the bassos though, she sounds magnificent, with the subbass region being top notch and impactful!

Can't wait to hear your comparisons!

Edit: I agree, pretty cool though, wonder how that is possible with video editing.

I believe one of their earlier Xtreme Xplosive models.

Xtreme, Xplosive, disappointment....

If only KC06 was around then I could of walked away with my original plan to spend only $50.

That's probably why the ckn70s weren't that good, I only burned them for 500 hours...

If only they stuck with making balanced armatures or their dynamic driver series. Nope! Let's follow JVC and make a profit. :)

But that was just me, there are others who enjoyed them and I respect them for liking them. Too bad because of the carbon nano ordeal, people are afraid to hear the new IM series.
