You probably meant bass for B3

I have both the 450 and 1000 on the way. I will probably sell the 450 to have an "all in one" amp for everything.
Extra power is better than not enough, and dynamic range changes shouldn't be perceptible.
The Havi will take well to the amp, while the Ostry does not need it, at all.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that to say that having a higher power output is basically better in all circumstances, with the only issue being how much power you actually utilize/underutilize?
Many thanks for your guidance.
Never heard of Ostry before this week, if they can keep pumping out this kind of performance ratio we won't have a problem. ;) I don't usually fall for hype products, actually I avoid them for most parts since having a terrible experience with JVC product "hype" on joining, however there were some reputable members backing these and a few big claims were made so I just had to see for myself. Little did I know I'd be ordering a pair within an hour. For $60 it's crazy imo. I honestly think with these around one could do without DN-1000 any longer.
Doesn't the DN-1000 have a lot more bass than the KC06?
As you can tell by my sig, I usually just drive them straight out of my phone so I tend to chose stuff that are easy to drive on the go. I bought the 720 variant, for my more power hunger headphones, but I don't think I will be using it as an amp from my android. The Usb dongle is just too fragile imo.
I am considering a DAP though. Something like the DX90 or maybe even the Geek Wave
LoL! Was about to say the same! You're beating the Discovery thread speed people!
Anyway, tried a bass boost EQ today, and ........freaking bass amount! And still with stock tips !
So many conflicting results. Didn't Mochill and some others say the KC06 has more bass than the B3? I guess the conflicting results are due to tip seal.
These are probably not legit sellers or they're selling fakes; anyone want to give them a try?
That could be it, but I remember Mochill only commenting on the quality and texture of the bass, while I do believe the Kc06 controls it better, in pure unEQed amount alone, the B3 wins.
B3 needs more power. I believe that if the source doesn't have enough juice, KC06 will have more bass.
I'd like to think that KC06 had some revisions. The KC06 that I have in my possession have more bass quantity, better texture, better impact, and more transparent than the B3, its really a mismatch. In fact I find the KC06 bass presentation better than the DN900 and the AX35 which I also have.
