Get them, mochill.  Less than $60 now.

I also found the RE-400 boring.

You have to remember that we all have different criteria for evaluating things. You see that SGS prefers the Tenore because it's more linear in FR. It all depends on preferences.

Personally, I listen based on refinement, control, detail, and soundstage. The Ostry delivers in spades.

He made the Tenore more linear in FR by finding looser tips, to suit his preference.  I do that with my KEF M200 also when I find it to be too bassy.

Based on DannyBai's description, Tenore and Ostry seem to be on the same level unamped and also have similar sound signature.

The KC06 and Tenore do have different signatures, regardless of bass quantities.

My guess is that KC06 sounds like Brainwavz B2 - does anyone has both?

Mochill and BHazard said the B3 has more bass than the KC06, and DannyBai/SGS said the KC06 has more bass than the Tenore.  By that deduction, B3 is very north of bass-neutral, since Tenore is north of bass-neutral; Tenore has more bass than RE-400/BA200/GR07 MK2/A161P.

I'm going to have to try B3 Pro and KC06 now.

The B3 is not bass heavy by any means.

I am quite bass adverse (basshead-ache) and the B3 has just the right amount of bass for me.

If you would ask me to rank w.r.t other IEMs that I've owned,

Bass Quantity:
Pistons 2.1 > Havi B3 = Shure SE215 >= Rockit R50

I know this isn't much to go on with, but I hope it helps!
