Can't believe this guy... but I agree let's move on.

The wide bore tips that came with KC06 works well opening up the high even more for me, what's the difference with the one from Lunashops?

The Heir Audio ones? Not sure, you'll have to get H20 to give you a rundown on why he prefers them to the stock ones

Hmm if it improve the bass then I'm in, also kinda interested in trying Sony Hybrid and Westone Star Tips with this, but they're rather expensive here. :/

Or Sony Isolation Tips(basically Hybrids with foam underneath). Which are also rather expensive, only place I found them was at amazon.jp. But they are very snug when you get a good fit.

What's that? Is it different from http://www.amazon.com/Sony-EPEX10A-BLK-Replacement-Earbuds/dp/B001RB24UA ?

Star tips and sony hybrid are selling for about $15 each locally, I'm not sure with buying tips half of your phone's price lol.

Isolation tips are pretty much those with the addition of foam.

Well, just think of it this way...You'd be paying $100 dollars for a quality sounding IEM with a nice set of tips. Still competes with $200+ IEMs regardless.

Interesting, but I'm not sure how I could buy them. JVC also recently released new ear tips, which is also only available on Japan. :/

H20 got me to order them :D
Possibly getting them tomorrow? Maybe not since it's Good Friday :(

Waiting for your impression biggrin.gif, or I should search H20's impression in this now giant thread.

The stock one kinda bloat the midbass too much for me. :/

Edit: Yeah, looks like wide bore made the sound v-shape, I think it's safe to buy non wide bore tips like westone star tips for me.

To be honest I haven't tried KC06 stock tips, my loaner pair didn't arrive with any tips. However, I do have an assortment here and Heir tips (which aren't really Heir tips,  just a Head-fi name we've given to identify them) tend to open staging, increase air and slightly tilt tonality cooler, gives a little heft in the upper mids which helps vocal extension. Keep in mind I use large in size which seal just on your outer canal - you'll need to pull up your ear and seat them properly. I cannot guarantee everyone will have similar results to myself.

I believe other companies started including them with their products. They become popular for the revised 1Plus2 for instance, I also used them on ASG-2.

Australian members can get them here:

lol I went for a night class, came back so much had happened haha. Its alright guys, no offence taken ;) advice taken. I will be more careful with what i compare now especially those i have not heard because i know different iems have different sound signatures. What may sound great to me may not sound as good to you. I am new to this, so I'm open to all criticisms and advice. :D

@Francisk sorry mate i couldn't help you because i really have not tried any of vsonic, i read some really good reviews of them though.
