Looking for recommendations on lightweight OE headphones

post #1 of 3

Given the complete lack of local stores in my area, the only place that exist nowadays to demo products is Best Buy, which their selection is very limited.  Ive only tried the Bose OE2 (On-Ear), which feel comfortable.  I actually bought the Bose AE2 (Around-Ear) but I had to return them due to my ears sweating.   So OE are a must.  I currently use KOSS Sportapros.  While I am happy with the sound, the springy headband causes pressure points on parts of my ear which causes discomfort over time.   Plus the headband keeps breaking due to its design (KOSS has replaced this multiple time with the lifetime warranty)

I am looking for OE headphones with the following features:

- OEs (On-Ear)

- Lightweight

- Comfortable (very important, I will be using this for 4+ hours)

- Flat cushion (i see some OE's that have indents on the cushions, which cause pressure points on your ear)

- $100 or less budget

- Sound, im no audiophile, in fact I have a hearing impairment, so if they sound similar to the KOSS Sportapros, im happy.

The headphones I am considering are

- Bose OE2

- Klipsch Image ONE II

- Sennheiser HD239

- Sennheiser PX95

- Sennheiser PX100 II

Recommendations/thoughts/comments appreciated.  Thanks .

OE = On-Ear

or

OE = Over-Ear?

You might want to clarify given either of those can work for that acronym.

Sorry about that.  I updated my post.   On-Ear.
