This Lunashops cable is nice and light, but I can't get it to control music from Poweramp or the default Google Music app on an HTC One M7 running SkyDragon M7 v 1.0. I also tried it on a Samsung Galaxy S4 without any luck. I'm have the IM70s.

Whenever I swap the switch away from the phone button, the sound gets all hollowed out. I assume this is the setting for iPhones? Pressing the button makes it sound normal again, but leaving the switch closest to the button leaves the sound normal.

I have reviewed this cable, a few posts above.  Tested it on Note 2 and S5, all stock Android 4.4x.  Works OK with Sammy's stock music player and Neutron MP app.

Haha, well I'll find out in a few days as well :D I'm still in the honeymoon phase with them and I've had them for around a month now.

Remove the filters and pair with UE600 or Philips 3590 tips, you will be happier. Using mine for about 2 months w/o filters and no problems yet.

I was going to remove the filters in hope of opening up the top end and mitigating the somewhat muddy sound signature... I will be using complies because they are the only tips that don't irritate the hell out of me AND they have a set that has wax filters built in. (important for me because these are basically only used for working out/running)

I've tried the comply foam ones, and I don't really like them. Treble presence is reduced greatly, while bass is increased by a moderate amount.

I have not tried removing the wax guard, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of getting the TX500 over the T500?

I'm still in search of tips that I really like.. Sony hybrids are hard to come by where I live.

Have you tried ebay?  Make sure you the sealed variety pack unless you trust that the pack of the same size is legit. I believe that those are knockoffs.
