Thanks!!

Are they good for gaming?

I currently have the Sony MA-900 which I love but fancy something new ... Do the X1 need a AMP?

Appreciate!

I haven't used X1 for gaming, but folks here r saying MA900 is great for gaming. I also hv MA900 and I think both complement each other. Get an amp. Both cans will benefit from it.

Hello,

If you want something different, go for X1. They sound very bassy, warmish, and dark. Recessed mids. Something different in signature from MA-900.

However, if you like something of the same but better, go for the K702/65 or K712 smily_headphones1.gif

All the recommended headphones benefits from an amp IMO

Hope it helps

IMO, AKG Q701(modded) will get you at least 80% - 85% there.  Gluck
