Well

I received The fidelio X1, the sound is perfect, the build quality is aswell BUT

1) I have a large head and the headphone clamp too hard for me, it gave me headaches

2) My ears are too big, they touch the plasic grill of the drivers and i feel a pain.

3) When i wear him more than 1 our, i ears start to be hot..

Now i have to find a new Headphone in the 200€ (250$) price range, as boomy as the fidelio x1 or a sound as good as this headphone,

Any idea ?

My current amp / dac is a fiio E7

I have a sennheiser PC 363d (i am going to sell it) because i was looking an headphone which i can go outside with it and game with at aswell

So i took the fidelio X1 an put it a V moda Boompro. Sadly can't wear my X1 for my Long session of gaming.

50%music/50%Gaming, i will go outside with it.

Looking for half opened, or opened because i like to perceive whats going on around me, otherwise i feel oppressed.

The pc 363d IS PERFECT in comfort, my ears fit perfectly but have a huge ass microphone, so i cant go outside with it
So any idea for the perfect Headphone ?

On this price range, the fidelio X1 is the best.

maybe the beyerdynamic custom one pros?  the ear cups are replaceable too... i recommend getting the beyerdynamic velour earcups as i feel they're more comfortable than the leather for extended use (won't get as hot).  that being said, i think with any over the ear headphone you'll get warm/hot regardless after wearing for a while.

Have you tried the Beats Pro?

A friend at school had them.

1) I hate the look "toomuch"

2) The clamping was insane ! i had them for 10mn and i felt the pain.

3) the sound was ok but meh, the X1 is by far above.

THe thing i am looking for perfect head:

-Velour ear pads

-Big earpads (more then fidelio x1)

-Good bass

-Half open

-200€ price range

-removable jack on the headset

I have some crossfade M80's and if the M100's are anything like the M80's then you'll be disappointed with the head clamping.  People generally seem to be happy with the Momentum's and Beyer COP's.

Yeah but i just remembered that, i feel oppressed when i wear a closed headphone, id like to know whats going on around me, do you understand what i mean ?

i think the best for me would be the half open headphones

Have you looked in to the HiFiMan HE-400's? or HE-500's?  I don't own either but they seem to get good reviews, are open, and have a removable cable.  The HE-400's would be right in your price range I think and apparently you can get velour pads for them as well.

I see.  Check HiFiMAN HE-300 and HE-400. You can buy Velour pads for them, they are full open though.

Well. I rly dont like the design of them. But ill dig that way

A semi-open option for you might be the Beyer Dynamic DT 880... they sell them in many different impedances but if it were me I'd go with the 32 ohm as you'd be able to drive from your mobile device.  I also don't own these but anything from Beyerdynamic generally gets good reviews around here.
