Anechoic Chamber with Open and Closed Headphones

If open headphones seem more "open and airy" due to crossfeed and not blocking outside noises wouldn't open and closed headphones sound the same in anechoic chamber where there are no reflections?

room reflection doesn't usually affect headphone listening and lower frequency sound doesn't beam well from headphone size radiators

significant backside radiation from open drivers reach the far ear even without room reflections from nearfield pressurization very low to diffraction higher up - to beyond the fundamental frequencies of typical musical instruments
