This was originally a listing regarding a computer I was building. It's already built but I didn't want to make another listing so I just edited it.

That looks like quite a computer.  Primarily for music?

Primarily for gaming, but it will be an all-rounder. New to the building hobby so I figure go beefy now and don't upgrade for a while. I did not include a soundcard because i'll be using the on-board optical out to a DAC/Amp combo I've yet to determine and buy. Currently I am using an Audinst HUD-mx2 but I want more power for my Mad Dogs (maybe Alpha Dogs in the future).

The 840 evo is the fastest SSD I've had the pleasure of toying around with, hope you like it. Also, for a 100-150$ dif you could get a 780 TI instead of a regular 780 for quite the improvements if you're interested. With the 8350, make sure you get a different cooler, the stock one is meeeeh.(Corsair make AMAZING liquid cpu coolers, see H100,H80).

Nice computer. Unless you need an ssd that huge then save yourself the cash. I built a killer computer last xmas and have a 128gb ssd boot drive with all my programs thats just over half full. The fractal case is awesome, i have one as well.

A 128 would be way too small for me as I keep some games on there, battlefield 4 and titanfall alone would overload it.

Most of the components are already here, waiting to be assembled. I'm just waiting for the core components to come. I got the 500GB EVO during a decent sale, otherwise I would've gone with a 120GB.

I've also changed the build, namely the processor and motherboard. Did more research as per advice of a fellow head-fier and I determined that the 4670K seems to beat the 8350 in most games. I'd be very satisfied with both but the better single-core performance and lower TDP won for me.

I'll be buying a Korean monitor as well, 2560X1440. I've read that the GTX 780 is powerful enough to power that many pixels on High settings. I don't need something as powerful as a 780ti, at least I don't think so. I can't play much till school is over anyways and honestly, the transition from a 6 year old prebuilt computer and PS3 to a powerful gaming computer will be astounding enough that the extra juice will go unappreciated.

Bump.

I recently got myself an X-Star 1440P off dream-seller and have a GTX780 Classified myself. The screen is an absolute beauty! 120Hz was an absolute peace of cake. The GTX780 does about 85FPS with almost everything on max.
