Best portable Amp for around $100? (+questions that I'd love to have answered)

I'm quite knowledgeable about audio equipment until it comes to DACs and amps. I'm going to be purchasing the Grado sr80i's and I hear that they work best with an amp just like every headphone. Should I spend that money on an amp instead? I own Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80ohm headphones, and I know that they would improve with an amp. I will be using the amp at home but I want to use it with my ipod and my computer, I'm not sure if there is anything around my price range that is portable and have those features. Forgive my ignorance, and if you feel that I should be educated on something DO NOT hesitate to link me to a page that could teach me or teach me yourself. Thanks.

Edit: The Fiio E07K seems to be what I want. Opinions?

(this was posted on portable headphone amps, but I don't think that's where I should've posted it)

The Grado SR-60i were my first pair of "audiophile" headphones, and I still use them today. I mostly use them for rock 'n' roll, classical and soundtracks though, I don't like electronic with them at all.

I have my Beyer DT770's for everything that requires a ton of bass. I just really want open backed headphones for rock. I want to get serious about my audio in general.

I have some Ultrasone Pro 900's and have the fiio e07k in transit as we speak. It should get here on Friday, I'll let you know how it performs once I get a chance to test it out.
