Upgrading from DJ TT's to Pro Ject III - would my Ecler Two Channel be a worthy phono pre?

Hi,

I'm fairly new to the audiofile side of things and I was wondering if my DJ mixing amp would be a good phono pre-amp or shoul I get a box?  It is an Ecler Nuo 2.0 (http://www.eclerdjdivision.com/productCont.php?ap=2&sub=1&id=34) - I know that it is all handwired, high quality stuff, I'm just not sure if it is what I'd want to get the best sound.  Let me know if you need any other information.

I am upgrading from Stanton Str8-80's and will be sending the feed through my Phonic Helix FW 18 into Mackie MR5's and (for now) Peavy 15" passive speaker set to only pick up Sub frequencies via it's amp.

Thanks in advance.
