I've just realized that having 5 pairs of headphones in my room gets rather cluttered, so I'm clearing house...again and going for an HE500 before Hifiman stops making them.
Up for interest check (I've had it literally one day so my decision can change, but it's unlikely) is my Audio Technica W1000X. While it's downright gorgeous, the sound signature just doesn't mesh with me. I want something even more liquid sounding with less treble than this, and my amp doesn't like how sensitive this is.
EDIT: Okay, so for some freak reason, one of the drivers is distorting. A new driver costs $50 from AT last time I checked (just email them, they're quite friendly. If you want, you can email them before buying to ensure you'll get a driver.)
Because of this issue, I'll sell it cheap: $250 all in with shipping and Paypal.
PS. The pictures show them with Alpha Pads, but they aren't included unless you want to add $40. They come with the original pads and all the original packaging.
