Please help me find a suitable around-ear headphone

Own: DT770, broken DT990, ATH-M50, Shure SE215

Owned: Sennheiser HD-598, Sennheiser Momentum On Ear

Amplification: Schiit Magni, Creative Sound Blaster Z, FiiO E18, various vintage receiver units

Want something preferably open, no treble spikes, better bass than the HD-598

Nothing ugly, Headphones I find ugly: Sennheiser HD600, HD650

Doesn't have to be a portable headphone.

Want it relatively comfortable doesn't have to be at Beyer status but still decent.

I listen to things ranging from Skinny Puppy, Sisters of Mercy, all the way to K-Pop, J-Pop

Will be using it for some gaming, movies and anime.

Nothing with ridiculous treble spikes that will make me cringe (I'm under the age of 23 I can hear these high pitched peaks)

And a removable cable would be nice, doesn't have to be there but would be a bonus.

HD650s would be my first choice... Who cares how they look? You can't see them when they're on your head.  You could try wiring some LCD-2s to the terminals on your receivers if you're willing to spend that much.

I really think I'd have to audtion HD650s.

The HD600s are worth a listen too if you get the chance to audition them somewhere.  I thought the fake marble finish was ugly as sin before I got them too.

Yeah I sort of feel like getting them but also thinking of saving for LCD-2s.
