JDS Labs C5 VS Headstage Arrow

Which amp is better? Looking for a good amp with a bass boost and am considering both of these options to go with my Apex Glacier. Going to be pairing the amp with the DX50 > VK-1/HD25 ALU.

The Arrow 3G(long discontinued but pop up used all the time) has one of the best bass boost buttons/toggles Ive ever heard. I recall it was a great amp with my original HD25. Im a little confused though you already have a Apex Glacier?

Yes, but I sometimes desire more bass because I can be a basshead at times and the Apex Glacier is not known for bass quantity. I also couldn't think of any other amps which are not incredibly expensive and/or have a relatively small form factor (so no e.g. ALO Audio Rx Mk3 B+).

In addition, would a refurbished 3G amp be better than the original 3G amp in terms of sound quality? I know the other features will be identical though.
