Hello People...new here. Have a Burning Question Regarding the Sennheiser PC 350 and the Senn HD 380 Pro's

First, why are the OHM's rating so different the 350 = 150ohm and the 380= 54ohm or there about's. I mainly want these for music with my laptop and my home stereo, my Pioneer 100watt per channel system.

I'll need an amp for the laptop with the 350, right? I'd love to build one if you can make an inexpensive recommendation.

Thanks for the help any and all that are willing....

i don't know the exact reason and don't want to google.

but the rule of thumb for impedance is that :

less impedance = portable

more impedance = not portable

i believe you'll surely  need an amp with the 350, the fundamental work of an amp is to provide more potential( voltage) to the device(whatever that might be).such  devices un-amped tend to produce low sound.
