From what I've heard they aren't too comfy, I can't tell if the Grado 225i are full sized, and I'm not too keen on having to use an adapter to use them on a computer. Do you know of anything that sounds like the Grados?

I think I've decided on the Grado sr80i's. If I don't find them comfy I'll buy the Grado L-cush large replacement ear pads, unless any of you know of any mods to make them more comfy that aren't too extreme.

That's what I'm probably gonna do. Gonna look through some reviews of a few more cans before I make the purchase just to be sure.

But I think you should get those 325is cans, it's better than 225is so much :D

Go for the 325is and never look back! Best rock cans ive heard so far. Gotta love those crispy drum tones and lively electric guitar sound!

Like I said earlier, I can't spend $300 right now. I'm going to be getting an amp as well.

You won't be dissappointed with sr80i's. I was thinking all the people were overhyping them but they are one of the best headphones for the price. I don't know about L-cush pads. But on stock pads, it's not very bad. Maybe you won't like their comfort in the beginning but when you strecth the headband a little, it gets an acceptable comfort.

To improve their comfort, buy an aftermarket headband such as Turbulent Labs. I really dislike the thin stock one.

Regardless, bend the flat metal strip inside the headband to fit the shape of your head and to get the pressure on your ears right.

To make the stock S-cushions smoother and softer, soak them overnight in lukewarm water with a little mild liquid baby soap; rinse thoroughly with cold water--press the water out gently; set them out on a towel to dry.
