I commute about 2 hours each day so I'm only gonna be using these headphones for that. So obviously I'm going to value noise isolation above anything else. I listen to a lot of shoegaze, dream pop, chillwave, post punk, instrumental hip hop, etc. so some good bass would be good too. I've narrowed down my choices to one of these three but if anyone has any other suggestions I'd love to hear them. Also, if there's anywhere cheaper I can get them that'd nice as well.

I would also consider the Beats MIXR

Any reason you're avoiding IEMs?

I guess the main reasons are that I've had a few iems already and they all seem to break down after a year or two of use, and also I wanted to try out on ears for the first time since I've never had one. Also I'm under the impression that full size headphones sound better than iems that are in the same price range.

Beats? I thought people here hated Beats, lol. It's slightly more expensive than the ones I have listed here but I could be persuaded to get it.

Yeah they do hate Beats here. And normally I hate them too because most of them sound awful but just the other day I listened to the mixr and they weren't bass heavy and sound pretty good.
