I noticed there is a new firmware update‚ÄĒv1.11‚ÄĒavailable which provides additional compatibility with DXD files, adds functionality to DSD files, and has some UI improvements; my question is whether anyone has had any issues with their 240 after doing the update.

I've been the victim of having bricked devices after doing a firmware update, so I generally don't update my gear until I know for certain there hasn't been any problems reported.

Thanks for any feedback ...

I updated, no problem so far.

Same here.
I did improperly eject the SD card and had all kinds problems reading it thereafter. Last night reformatted and reinstalled the music and no probs. Man this thing sounds so good.

Now no ones going to upgrade there firmware :P, everyone's gonna wait for that one person to bite.

Regarding the AK240, I wish the volume knob was a bit harder to turn and maybe a bit more robust. The good thing is that I connected it to use as a DAC for my PC today and at first I thought I could only change the volume through my PC but than found out that the volume knob works when the AK240 is connected as a DAC.

For me, I get about 12% per hour with FLAC.  Obviously, DSD is much higher, maybe double.  Don't know about WAV.

About 8 hours with 16/44 flac, 4 hours with DSD assuming minimal screen on time and no wifi/BT.
