Currently this rig is (despite fresh new - the IEMs at least) kinda hard to beat - the AK240 with Tralucent Uber cable & Ref1. Very immersive, involving, musical yet detail highly articulate. I'm hearing details I've not heard before but yet not fatiguing nor clinical.

I'm enjoying the synergy between this DAP & this IEM.

I was using the combo listening to The Phantom of the Opera and was totally submersed into the music.  Simply incredible.

Screw that yo!! I keep mine always in the case, then 6 layers of bubble wrap, and a neon yellow Saftey vest, so no one bumps into it.

This. I haven't even peeled off the thin stick sheet that covers the screen protection yet and have no plans to do so despite the tape being an aethetic eyesore.

Lol - I've done the same!  Looks horrible and the tabs get in the way, but I'm leaving them as well.

You can strip out the tabs from the screen side. Did that and wiped off the adhesive. No eyesore anymore.

Have you tested  AK240>HUGO>Uber>Ref1 ?  Will HUGO in between bring something more ? ( I am trying to justify my Hugo ;-)
