Yes The answer is below :

Comparison between AK 120 Titan mod vs AK 240

Source : AK 120 Titan mod
AK 240
Dac / Amp : IBasso D12
Cable : Sys Concept 2,2 mm optical cable toslink to mini plug

The sound quality different between AK 120 Titan mod vs AK 240 :

High : AK 240 very clean , very Clear and better clarity With better rendering , to our Ears is relax
Mid : AK 120 Titan mod more forward , AK 240 The
position from The sanger is on The right place.
Bass : AK 120 everything more forward , AK 240 is on The right Place , cleaner and better detail
Separation : AK 240 is top notch Soundstage : AK 240 more 3D like We sit In big concert hall , AK 120 Titan mod is insite small concert hall

Overall : AK 240 is more balance , not so forward like AK 120 Titan mod , For long listening periode AK 240 is better not fatigue to our Ears , i prefer AK 100 than AK 120 , AK 100 is more natural sound than AK 120 Titan mod . Imo

I just rec'd my AK240 a few days ago and have been testing most of the electrical features and functions with a wide variety of sound formats most sounding fabulous without an amp. But in one regard I am very disappointed with the physical unit itself and would like some feedback from other owners on this.  On the back of my unit there are several (6) bubbles deep in the clear coat near the carbon fiber itself.  I am afraid it might chip on the larger bubbles over time but is smooth to the touch on the outer surface.  Even worst, there is a same type bubble under the surface on the front screen, only one and is mostly noticeable with the unit turned off.  I had a much higher expectation for the fit and finish in this product price range.  I have the opportunity to return/exchange for about 5 more weeks and would like to hear if anyone else is experiencing similar fit and finish issues like this or am I expected to accept this is normal.  I love the performance of the unit but very disappointed with the front and back surface manufacturing quality.

Nope, no problems here.

I have no blemishes on my unit.

I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question, but are you sure that the bubbles are not from the applied screen protectors?  Your device should have come with protectors applied to both the front and back.   Did you take them off?

Yes, this is the reason for bubbles. My unit had a bubble too which initially bothered me quite a bit, but later I realized there was a protective film on the back. Once I removed this film, the bubble was gone.

Mine is perfect. I'm 99% sure the bubbles are from the layer of film on the screen protectors or the screen protectors itself causing the bubbles. It is very likely that when you try to remove the layer of film from both the front and back screen protectors off AK240, you probably lifted the screen protectors slightly in the process and let some air go in forming the bubbles. Check your protectors and lift them up slightly at the bubble corners using some scotch tapes and try to flatten out the bubbles.

If not the screen protected, which I took off there was a tab to pull, then exchange. You like the player so just take away what's bothering you.

If it isn't the screen protector, then the iriver guys are on the forum and you can contact them about it.

Thanks for the input guys.  Through several PM messages with "Teds Headfood" I was also informed that the AK 240 ships with 2 layers of screen protectors the one with the tabs on them (which I removed right after the unboxing).  I did not realize that there was yet another screen protector (the real screen protector) still on there.  Who would of thought that Astell & Kern would be so careful as to ship with a screen protector on the screen protector.  The bubbles were from a less than stellar installation of the primary protector.  This is by no means a complaint since they also shipped mine with a spare set of protectors.  It bothers me much less knowing it is just under the protector and can be fixed at will with the replacement of the overlays. GREAT product.  Fit and finish is upgraded to equal to the performance IMHO.
