Yesterday night I have done the comparison between AK 120 Titan mod vs AK 240

Source : AK 120 Titan mod
AK 240 stock just less than 3 cycle charge
Music file : WAV 16 bit / 44,4 KHz
Cd : Jamie Valley ROUND MIDNIGHT
Joe Bonamassa BLUES DELUXE track number 3
Iem : Earsonic SM 64 v1 112 ohm version

High
AK 240 : more shining , more weight and Better pronounce
I am sorry can not write in English :
Cymbals on ak 120 : cring , on AK 240 criiiing , that I can hear until the end , better rendering

Mid
AK 240 : more weight and cleaner and clearer , that I can hear how the Sanger breath more clear .
More natural
I can hear Joe Bonamassa lead guitar more weight and better rendering

Bass :
AK 240 : more weight , better bass detail , Better bass impact and better bass speed
I can hear the kick drum more clear and better rendering , that we can hear until the end from
Leather effect after the musician kick the drums.amazing

Note : I used ak 120 Titan mod , compare to my ex ak 120 has more different
For some DSD file I hear hiss

IMO

Hey Ted,

Glad to hear you're having fun with your new toy. It gets even better with burn-in.

I don't have HD800 but I do have stock IE800 and ALO's modified IE800. What I talked about here was comparison between stock and balanced IE800s.

Is your Titan Mod the RWAK, RWAK-S or the RWAK-B mod? It seems from the picture that the volume knob has been replaced so it is a B mod?

People are saying that the AK120 and HM-901 sound warmer with more of a tuning toward EDM and other such music, seems like the A&K team were aiming at the more Classical and JAzzy folks with this one.... was wondering how you guys are finding the 9 band EQ function when it comes to more midrange-lower type music, does it compensate well?

Problem I have is that I've got a pair of Alpha Dogs, don't think they'd pair well and I'm not inclined to change the bass setting on the phones.

Understand. I'm thinking about the ALO IE800s since I liked my IE8s when I owned them. I don't have any experience with ALO's mods; how's the craftsmanship? Thank you for your reply.

For headphone My 3 Stack apple With Cypher Labs Class dB and Duet is better than AK 240 In term OF SQ and Power
AK is excellent For iems , For headphone has lack OF Power
Unless Your file is DSD than AK 240 is excellent to drive Low impedance HP
IMO

Have you tried the Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Duet , with the AK-240? I'd be real curious to see what your thoughts are on it. I'm thinking about getting it, to go with the AK-240, to power up my HD-800. Also looking at the SR-71b
