At least for the 6, yes, apart for the weight they're identical to the 500 in build.

I believe aside from cable exit, the new Hifiman lineup will be the same size as well. Not sure about internal mounting points, that could very well be different but as far as size goes, it's the same diameter.

Also if anyone is interested in angled pleather Hifiman pads (Denon with hifiman ring), I have mine fs:

Some people think that when they shell out a lot of money for headphones, say, the HiFiMan HE-500's, that they also need to spend a bunch of money on a headphone stand.  I say it's nothing a little absinthe can't fix! :)
