Remember how this all started with their first hybrid H-100? I'm sure it was for many of you. Well the CEO himself directly called my cell phone yesterday requesting that I audition and review the prototype of H-100 v2. This is too much for me to handle and I can't keep my mouth shut. So nobody can know I said anything! You all heard nothing! You will hear from me again next week when I receive it.
what happened to the dual dynamic(?) and the alternative form factor/probably tuning 2BA+DD you mentioned a few weeks ago?

Well I hope they're not that easy to drive bcause I'm sick of the static from my fiio e07k through my tf10.

Also, what's this about switched channels on on one of the cables?

Nothing serious. It's just a reversed polarity on the color coded cables. But I supposed the issue has been rectified. I happen to get the reversed cable but T-Peos was quick to send a replacement cable to me. Great customer service! smily_headphones1.gif

From memory the TF10 is just as enjoyable at certain volume levels but it is definitely technically inferior in everything except maybe the upper midrange.

Yes, I had it for a couple of days and then my boss at work just stole them from me because he wanted to give it to his son...
The DD-200 is a full on basshead earphone and sounds a lot different from their other products. It's not my style but I enjoyed it for a little while. It's down on their cheaper line of products  and was not that successful here in Korea either so I didn't think it was worth much mentioning. And I believe they don't plan on making them available for overseas shipping either. Observing them for the past few weeks, it seems they are trying to maximise on the range of products to increase sales. After they made the DD-200, they released the H-150 which I wasn't able to try. Early this month they will also be releasing two other products. A single dynamic earphone called D-300, the upgrade version of one of their popular D-200R model. And a single ba earphone called B-100Plus which is an upgrade of a product they released a long time ago back in 2012. Anyways, that's what T-Peos is up to.

I do think that the market needs another full on basshead IEM since the famed Hippo VB is not available anymore

The Hippo VB is truly a bass head IEM! My audiophile journey started from there too. Haha. But the durability issue is really a letdown. I had 2 sets which I always kept them in the hard clamshell pouch provided but still fail within 6 months of usage.

I own W4, SM3, SE535, SM64, Dunu Dn1000, and Noble4, but the H-300 is my current favorite.

Something new to report, it looks like the coloured cable is prone to stiffening over time. So far just near to the earpieces, it's noticeably less supple. No idea if the mic cable has same tendency as I don't use it.

Anyone else noticed this?

Hey guys, I'm facing a dilemma - I'm tossing up between the Sony XBA-H3 and the T-Peos H-300 as my upgrade from the TF-10 that has loyally served me well the last few years, my first foray into audiophile territory. I'm expecting to be able to get the H3 for about $240 AUD free shipping (when it eventually hits the Sony Australia site), but I can get the T-Peos H-300 as @Hapster found at digital852 for $275 USD free shipping also. At those price points (or from what I read, it might not even be a battle of price points), which would you guys go for? I'm a little biased, since I have access to pretty decent Sony prices, and it's turning me into a Sony fanboy by force of value, so to help my reasoning I'm hoping someone can set me straight :smile_phones:
