I don't think it has been formally introduced by them but getting an ASG-2 now will bring you a ASG-2.5 and I think it's fair to assume that the previous version will be discontinued because they told me it was a revision, not a new product all together. They told me it is "retuned it to be a bit softer and less fatiguing...while not sacrificing anything on it's professional quality." The first thing I will do I compare it with the H-300. Wonder how it will play in price/product value against T-Peos'.
Cool!! Awaiting eagerly for your comparison! smily_headphones1.gif if it's good I guess many ASG2 owners will do the upgrade too.

I believe that the polarity is reversed on the color coded cable? Anybody is having this issue too?

Yes they are reversed. You can ask for a replacement otherwise it's just as easy as reversing the cables to correct the channels.

Will it affect the sound in any other ways?

No, not at all. Just the left and right channels get switched.

Alright thanks! I'll just swap them around. Probably may source for an aftermarket cable soon haha. The stock cable doesn't seem too good nor durable.

Nice review, very exuberant

Interesting that you didn't see much improvement from amps, I've found these quite sensitive to the source. Comparing my S4 to my old iBasso D12, the D12 has noticeably better detail and overall smoother presentation, especially in the treble, which is much better controlled.

Not the case for me, in fact, I found that it is one of the easiest to drive, and the least difference between unamped and amped, I listen to my music generally loud, and through iPod classic, most IEM's sit on around 75%-80% volume level, this sits comfortably on about 65%, and there is only one other IEM that I've heard that is easier to drive, which is Westone3, when I had it this always sat on about 50%-60% volume level

I do feel that through Clip+ sounds a touch crisper and brighter, but not really noticable unless you listen on higher volume level

I think it's not so much that they are hard to drive, but more that they are so detailed and transparent I can really notice the aural characteristics of the dac/amp, which in turn can help a lot with the smoothness of the upper range.

To all the T-Peos fans out there.

Remember how this all started with their first hybrid H-100? I'm sure it was for many of you. Well the CEO himself directly called my cell phone yesterday requesting that I audition and review the prototype of H-100 v2. This is too much for me to handle and I can't keep my mouth shut. So nobody can know I said anything! You all heard nothing! You will hear from me again next week when I receive it.
