Would the Mr. Speaker Mad Dogs pair well with a Schiit Magni/Modi?

Interested in upgrading my headphones, the HD 558's, and I'm interested in finding a replacement. Genres that I typically listen to are Rap/Hip Hop, rock, pop, and I do heavy gaming. Comfort is somewhat of a nessecity.

Anyway, I have the Schiit Magni and Modi and I'm wondering if the combo will sound good with the Mad Dogs, as I'm interested in trying some higher end closed headphones. Mad Dogs have those Alpha Pads and the comfort strap so I think the comfort will be alright.

Any other reccomendations? And will the combo sound good?

The Schiit stack is a good entry level pairing with the ortho Mad Dogs.  In time you may want to upgrade.

Closed cans limit your sound stage and are not generally the best options for gaming.

Do you have any other recommendations?

Although I have heard the Mad Dog numerous times, I don't own them (I have several HiFiMan orthos starting with the HE-500).  So someone who owns them will give you better advice about the pairing.
