Windows equalizer program that works per application?

This is hard to narrow down in Google search, and couldn't find results within the first few pages of a forum search. Any freeware suggestions? My Realtek EQ works just fine, but it's system wide, and I want something that will tune the EQ when I launch specific applications. Thanks!

What applications do you mean?

Do you need realtime EQ or just software to launch certain EQ ?

Something that will automatically apply my desired EQ settings when a specified program is launched. I just got a headset and using my front audio inputs on the PC requires some EQing since I can't use the mic through my desktop studio speakers. My intention is to have desired EQ separate for games and for system/music.

Maybe this way ...

Disable Realtek EQ and

You could also check if the Realtek EQ stores it's EQ settings to the system registry. If it does then you could prepare cmd's which sets the values by your choices (prepare few .reg -files which has the preferred EQ values by exporting selected branch when EQ is done - launch the preferred .reg file before launching the application).
