Ultrasone hfi 580? Or are there better headphones for the price?

Hello, this is my first post on head fi. I am new to the high quality headphone area, but have owned several high quality speakers. I am looking for a closed headphone with plenty of bass, but also good mids and treble. I will be running them with an iPod touch 5th gen. un amped, so I want something efficient. The headphones. I have come up with are:

Ultrasone hfi 580
Sennheiser hd 439
Denon d1100
Audio technica ath m50

I am open to suggestions, and I want to stay below 150 dollars. Are the hfi 580's worth the extra money? Or would I be happy with the sennheisers? I will be using these to listen to movies and pop music. Will the sennheisers have enough bass for me? Thank you!

I think it is really hard to recommend an Ultrasone headphone. They are a very polarizing headphone - your either love them or hate them. Part of it is the S-Logic, which has both fans and haters, and part of it is their actual headphone sound signatures. I have only heard one - and to be honest, I can't remember which one it was. All I can remember is that it was "different" - and not to my liking at all. However, like I said, there are plenty of fans - I just think that if at all possible, you should hear them before you buy them, or at the very least, buy them from somewhere with a liberal return policy. You might love them, but just in case you don't...

You might want to checkout VMInnovations.com - they usually have refurbished HD439 or HD449 at a really good price.

Thank you...do you have any other headphone suggestions? Could someone also do a comparison of the sennheiser hd 439 and the ultrasone hfi 580? Is the 580 worth the extra money?
