So I got the GR07 BE's and have burned in 150 hours+. I like them, comfortable and light. But the sound? I don't see anything special, its good and clear and everything but quite average.

Can someone explain whats so unique about them? Can someone explain the hype?

I like it because it's good in almost anything. It has good highs, mids and lows, nice tonality and instrument separation It is also suitable for many music genres. The only thing that can be improved upon is the sound stage but that's why they have the MK2....a GR07BE with better soundstage.
