3.5 mm adapter for Audio Technica ath-m50

Thread Starter

Hi There

Im looking for an adapter for my ath-m50's which screws in to the existing adapter and gives me the 3.5 mm jack but has less bulk around the base allowing me to plug into an iPhone 5 with its case on, I currently have to remove the case in order to use the headphones which defeats the purpose of the case.

If it is not possible to get a screw mount what is a good quality female 3.5mm to 3.5mm male adapter

Many thanks for looking

A lot of people do a detachable mod on these to get rid of the stock cable and use a different one. I have done many detachable mods to these and built cables for people to use with them.

Yep, the detachable cable mod is the way to go. Then you'll have endless possibilities!

Otherwise, I find that Beats-style aftermarket cables are very slim. Beware though, as these cables may have the left and right channels inverted.
