IEMs and exercise: That great sucking feeling

I know I am not the only one who has experienced this. If I get a snug enough fit to get good sound, perspiration eventually leads to an in-ear vacuum effect which is very annoying. Silicon tips are the worst, but I have the same problem with Comply. Currently I am using Jaybird Bluebuds X w/Comply but something has gotta change -- driving me nutty.

Anyone else deal with this? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

:)

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Is sweat being drawn in? Is there an audible sucking sound?

Try the Comply active foam tips. They're different than the normal ones, they don't have the wax coating on the surface and they're not as squishy as the normal Comply tips, but they seem to be made with foam of a larger pore size.

Thanks! Larger pores might help.

It's not a sound thing, more like pressure on the eardrum. As I move around, they bounce a little and it feels like pressure sucking on the eardrum. Make sense?

Oh, now I get it. Try wearing them upside down, so the cable faces up, and loop the cables around your ear.

Thanks -- yes, have been doing that a while now and it is better for fit. But I still get the ear pressure.
